| Australasia's
leading aircraft sales,service and product support company, Hawker Pacific,
today handed over the first Beechcraft King Air B200GT in the region to
Hornbill Skyways in a brief ceremony at Singapore Airshow.
The B200GT, the latest evolution in the popular B200
range and on static display for the duration of the Airshow, was accepted
by Chairman of Malaysian based Hornbill Skyways, at a handover ceremony
today.
Hawker Pacific's Chief Executive Officer, Alan Smith
said that Hornbill Skyway's selection of the B200GT was an endorsement
of the aircrafts suitability to the region and its flexibility as a multi-role
aircraft.
"Following delivery, this aircraft will undergo an extensive modification
program by Hawker Pacific to prepare it for aerial survey, medivac and
charter work in the challenging environment of Sarawak.
"A second B200GT aircraft is also under order
for the region by a corporate operator and is
due for delivery mid 2008." he said.
Hornbill Skyways Executive Chairman, Y.B.Aidan Wing
said: " We selected the B200GT over its competitors because of its
proven record as a multi-role aircraft and the appreciable increase in
the B200GT's speed."
The aircraft is expected to be fully operational at
its base in Sarawak in its modified role by
May 2008.

Federal Aviation Administration. Featuring a 305-knot max cruise speed,
the upgraded Beechcraft King Air B200GT enjoys a nearly 20-knot speed
increase and climbs faster to its intended cruising altitudes than the
King Air B200 it replaces.
