leading aircraft sales, service and product support company, Hawker Pacific,
has delivered the first new high performance King Air C90GTi to arrive in
Australia to a local operator.
The aircraft, a replacement for the existing King B200, was handed over to General Flying Services in Moorabbin, Victoria last month. Hawker Pacific's Senior Vice President, Aircraft Sales

the popularity of this aircraft. "The King Air C90GTi, a mutli-engined aircraft, is incredibly fuel-efficient, which contributes to its low operating costs while still delivering increased performance and greater system redundancy. This has created strong interest from the corporate sector, a key growth area for Hawker Pacific." Mr Jones said." The C90GTi is capable of a top speed of 272kts, which is 20% higher than its predecessor. General Flying Services Managing Director, Ross Carrington said that the aircraft is being utilised for local and international pilot training. GFS has operated King Air aircraft in this capacity for 16 years, often logging between 1000 and 2000 hours per aircraft per annum. "We selected the C90GTi because it is airline standard with the inherent safety benefits and other special features such as a full glass cockpit. Its safety, performance and economics were major influencing factors in our decision to purchase this aircraft. " Mr Carrington said. GFS is the largest pilot training school in Australia,
