Hawker Pacific increases presence at Avalon Airshow 2009

Hawker Pacific increases presence at Avalon Airshow 2009 Australasia’s leading aircraft sales, services and product support company, Hawker Pacific, plans to increase its presence at this month’s biennial Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition at Avalon.

Inspired by the company’s success at the 2008 Singapore Airshow, Hawker Pacific has taken a different approach from the usual trade stand to consolidate its presence in a much larger location adjacent to the static aircraft display area.

The unrestricted location (Ref: EW-E1) will this year feature three large marquees that will house hospitality and meeting facilities, a FLIR Systems display studio and a Bell 407 Helicopter. A scale model of the V22 Osprey will also be on display throughout the show.

In addition, the company will have more aircraft on static display than in previous years, including the Hawker 900XP, the exciting King Air B200GT and King Air C90Gti, a Beechcraft Bonanza G36 and a Diamond DA40 aircraft.

Tony Jones, Hawker Pacific’s Senior Vice President, Aircraft Sales & Flight Services Group, said: “Our main aim is to make Hawker Pacific, its people, its partners and their products and services, accessible to all levels within the aviation industry.

“The company now has an exceptionally broad operational base in terms of the products and services we offer and we want to encourage people to come and talk to us. General aviation enthusiasts, corporate, special service and private operators, as well as representatives of Government, are all welcome,” he said.

Of particular interest at this year’s Airshow will be the addition of a Diamond DA40 which is being displayed for the first time. Priced at around US$260,000, this is an ideal low entry cost aircraft for flying school operators and enthusiasts alike.

“For us, our range of aircraft and services connects us to a very wide band of customers. I encourage all owners and operators who are attending Avalon 2009 to call in for a chat,” Tony said.

The Hawker Pacific studio at Avalon is located at EW-E1. Senior Hawker Pacific representatives at Avalon 2009 will include:
